These Glass Bing Cherry Earrings feature my handmade glass cherry beads hung on Sterling Silver v- wire findings. The cherries are accented by handmade transparent green glass leaves. The realistic speckled pattern is achieved by sprinking powdered glass onto the surface and melting it in with the torch flame. As a result the color will not rub, flake or chip off. The cherry stems are made from a copper wire with a twist embedded into the glass so they cannot be pulled out.
The cherries shown above are a medium-red ripe color. If you'd like them to be a more tart, lighter red, or an over-ripe purple red, please specify when you order. There is room for some variation in size. I normally make the cherries about 12mm across at the widest point, but they can be as large as 14mm or as small as 10mm. I can also make the leaves larger or smaller, or of an opaque green instead of transparent.
Alternative earring findings including post, leverback, screwback and clip-on are available at the same price. Other cherry earring variations and matching necklaces can be seen on the Cherries Page of this site. Cherry earrings can also be custom made with high-karat gold or platinum findings and accented with Swarovski Crystal or Cubic Zirconia leaves.
