These Glass Peach Earrings feature my handmade glass peach beads hung on 14/20 Gold-Filled french wire findings. The peaches are accented by green Czech firepolished crystals. Like real peaches, each has a matte surface with areas of dark red blush and a crease down one side. These beads are hand-formed in the flame of a torch from colored glass and copper. The ripe blush is achieved by melting several colors of powdered glass onto the surface, so it will not rub, flake or chip off. No two peaches are exactly alike.
I make peaches in a range of sizes. To keep the earrings light in weight, I normally use peach beads that are between 10mm and 12mm in size. However, I can make them as small as 8mm or as large as 14mm if you prefer.
