These Glass Salmonberry Earrings feature my handmade glass salmonberry beads hung on 14/20 Gold-Filled leverback findings for added safety. The berries are accented by green Czech firepolished crystals. Like real salmonberries, each has a slightly translucent quality with a glossy surface. These beads are hand-formed in the flame of a torch from hand-mixed colored glass, so the color will not rub, flake or chip off, and no two salmonberries are exactly alike.
I make salmonberries in a range of colors from unripe golden yellow through tart apricot (shown), orange, and deep red. If you would like yours to be a ripeness other than the apricot shown here, please specify when you order. To keep the earrings light in weight, I normally use salmonberry beads that are about 14mm high. However, I can make them as large as 16mm or as small as 12mm if you prefer.
