These Glass Holly Earrings feature my handmade glass holly leaves and red holly berries hung on 14/20 Gold-Filled french wire findings. The berries are accented by green Czech firepolished crystals. Like real holly leaves these have mottled coloring which is achieved by layering transparent glass over opaque glass. The points along the edges of the leaves have been rounded over so there is nothing sharp to cut fingers or catch on clothing. The copper wire stems of the holly berries are embedded inside the glass and cannot be pulled free. Because these beads are hand-formed one at a time in the flame of a torch no two are ever exactly alike.
The holly leaves on these earrings are each about .75 inches long. The holly berries are Christmas Red but I can also make them in a burgundy-red by special order.
Like all my jewelry designs, Mistletoe earrings can be made on Sterling Silver or 14/20 Gold-Filled findings.
