These Glass Boysenberry Earrings feature my handmade glass boysenberry beads hung on Sterling Silver leverback findings for added safety. The berries are accented by green Czech firepolished crystals. These beads are hand-formed one cell at a time in the flame of a torch from colored glass. As a result the color will not rub, flake or chip off, and no two boysenberries are exactly alike.
Like real boysenberries, each of these contains cells that are more ripe (darker) and less ripe (lighter). There is also room for some variation in the size of the boysenberries. I normally make them about 14mm high at the tallest point, but they can be as large as 16mm or as small as 12mm.
