The Glass Blackberry Necklace you see here features one of my handmade small glass blackberry beads backed by a light green glass leaf. It looks just picked from the garden! The blackberry is hung on Sterling Silver slider and suspended on a figure-eight chain. These beads are hand-formed one cell at a time in the flame of a torch from colored glass so the color will not rub, flake or chip off. No two glass blackberries are ever exactly alike.
I usually make the glass blackberry with a few reddish not-quite-ripe cells. If you would prefer your blackberry bead to be completely ripe (all black) just let me know when you make your purchase. I would be happy to customize it just for you.
The standard length of the necklace you see above is 18 inches. It is finished with a lobster clasp on one end and a small glass leaf on the other end. You may vary the length between 17 inches and 19 inches by clipping the lobster onto any link in the last few inches of the chain. If you would like your necklace to be shorter or longer than the standard simply specify the desired length when you order. Alternative clasps such as toggle style are also available.
