The Great Pumpkin Necklace you see here features one of my handmade glass pumpkin beads, accented by six green Czech glass leaves and hung on Sterling Silver figure-eight chain. The pumpkin is about 15mm high and 20mm in diameter. Lots of striations in the orange coloring of the glass give a realistic look. The stem is made from several pieces of copper wire which are twisted together and embedded within the glass. Each pumpkin includes my signature cane in the "scar" at the bottom center of the pumpkin. These beads are hand-formed in the flame of a torch from colored glass and copper. No paint is used - as a result the color will not rub, flake or chip off, and no twp pumpkins are exactly alike.
I can make glass pumpkins in a range of sizes and shapes. If you would prefer a spherical pumpkin or tall thin pumpkin, just let me know and I'll make a necklace to your order.
The total length of the necklace you see above is 18 inches and it is finished with a lobster clasp. You may vary the length between 17 inches and 19 inches by clipping the lobster onto any link in the last few inches of the chain. A matching glass leaf dangles at the free end of the chain. If you would like your necklace to be shorter or longer than the standard simply specify the desired length when you order.
