The Glass Boysenberry Necklace you see here features three of my handmade glass boysenberry beads accented by six green firepolished Czech crystals and hung on Sterling Silver figure-eight chain. The center boysenberry is usually about 18mm high, with the side berries being a little smaller - about 16mm. These beads are hand-formed one cell at a time in the flame of a torch from colored glass. As a result the color will not rub, flake or chip off and no two boysenberries are exactly alike.
Like real boysenberries, each of these glass ones contains a few lighter not-quite-ripe cells and the center plug that remained inside when it was picked.
The standard length for the necklace you see above is 18” and it is finished with a toggle clasp. Different lengths and clasp styles are available by special order. Like all of my jewelry, this design is available in both 14/20 Gold-Filled and Sterling Silver.
