These Glass Blackberry Earrings feature my handmade glass blackberry beads hung on cast Sterling Silver earring findings. The blackberries are accented by faceted olivine green Cubic Zirconia beads and clear glass water drops. These glass blackberries are hand-formed one cell at a time in the flame of a torch from colored glass. As a result the color will not rub, flake or chip off, and no two of my glass blackberries are ever exactly alike.
Like real blackberries each of these glass blackberries contains a few reddish not-quite-ripe cells and the center plug that remained inside when it was picked. However, I will be happy to make you a pair of earrings with completely ripe blackberries if you prefer. There is also room for some variation in the size of the blackberries. I normally make them about 14mm high at the tallest point, but they can be as large as 16mm or as small as 12mm.
