These Glass Raspberry Earrings feature my handmade glass red raspberry beads hung on Sterling Silver v-wire findings. The berries are accented by handmade dark green glass leaves. Like real raspberries, each of my glass raspberry beads has a translucent quality with a soft surface sheen. Every cell of the raspberry has a slight vertical indentation, just as real raspberries do. These beads are hand-formed one cell at a time in the flame of a torch from colored glass. As a result, the color will not rub, flake or chip off, and no two raspberries are exactly alike.
I make raspberries in a both red and golden varieties. The other colors can be seen on the Raspberries Page. To keep the earrings light in weight, I normally use raspberry beads that are about 14mm high. However, I can make them as large as 16mm or as small as 12mm if you prefer.
