Single Glass Bing Cherry Necklace on Sterling Silver Chain

Single Glass Bing Cherry Necklace on Sterling Silver Chain
NBHB-CTS

The Glass Bing Cherry Necklace you see here features one of my handmade glass Bing Cherries, accented by two handmade glass leaves and hung on Sterling Silver figure-eight chain. The realistic speckled pattern is achieved by sprinking powdered glass onto the surface and melting it in with the torch flame. As a result, the color will not rub, flake or chip off. The cherry stem is made from a copper wire with a twist embedded into the glass, so they cannot be pulled out.

The cherry shown above is a purple-red, fully ripe color. You may also order cherries in a more tart, lighter red. There is room for some variation in size. I normally make the cherries about 20mm across at the widest point, but they can be as large as 24mm or as small as 18mm. You may special order leaves which are larger or smaller, or of an opaque green instead of transparent.

The standard length for the necklace you see above is 20” and it is finished with a toggle clasp. Different lengths and clasp styles are available by special order. Like all of my jewelry, this design is available in both 14/20 Gold-Filled and Sterling Silver. You can see alternate cherry necklace designs and matching cherry jewelry by viewing the Cherries Page of this site.

Cherry jewelry can also be custom made with high-karat gold or platinum findings and accented with Swarovski Crystal or gemstone beads. Some examples can be viewed on the Custom Jewelry Page.

Ordering information is available on the Order and Contact Page.
