The Glass Blackberry Necklace you see here features three of my handmade glass blackberry beads including one large fully-ripe, one small red and one small partly-red blackberry. The berries are accented by handmade glass leaves in several colors. The cluster is hung on Sterling Silver figure-eight chain. These beads are hand-formed one cell at a time in the flame of a torch from colored glass. As a result the color will not rub, flake or chip off and no two glass blackberries are ever exactly alike.
I usually make the largest glass blackberry with a few reddish not-quite-ripe cells. If you would prefer your largest blackberry bead to be completely ripe (all black) just let me know when you make your purchase. Likewise, if you prefer for the smaller blackberries to both be red, or both be mostly black, etc. I would be happy to customize the combination just for you.
The standard length of the necklace you see above is 18 inches. It is finished with a lobster clasp on one end and a small glass leaf on the other end. You may vary the length between 17 inches and 19 inches by clipping the lobster onto any link in the last few inches of the chain. If you would like your necklace to be shorter or longer than the standard simply specify the desired length when you order. Alternative clasps such as toggle style are also available.
