Triple Glass Gooseberry Necklace on 14/20 Gold-Filled Chain

Triple Glass Gooseberry Necklace on 14/20 Gold-Filled Chain
NBOG-DTG

The Glass Gooseberry Necklace you see here features three of my handmade glass gooseberry beads, accented by six green firepolished Czech crystals and hung on 14/20 Gold-Filled figure-eight chain. The center gooseberry is usually about 14mm high, with the side berries being a little smaller - about 12mm. Like real gooseberries, each is a translucent green with delicate white veins running over its surface from the stem to the dried flower at the tip, and you can see the seeds inside. The edges of the glass dried flower at the end of each gooseberry have been rounded so they will not snag on clothing. These beads are hand-formed in the flame of a torch from colored glass and copper. As a result, the color will not rub, flake or chip off, and no two gooseberries are exactly alike.

I make gooseberries in a range of colors from unripe dark green through tart mid-green, ripe yellow, and slightly overripe golden brown. I usually try to include several different leves of ripeness in a triple necklace. If you would like your gooseberries to be a specific color, just let me know.

Gooseberries can be made in a range of colors from unripe dark green through tart mid-green (shown), ripe yellow, and slightly overripe golden brown. You may specify the ripeness(es) you want by special order.

The standard length for the necklace you see above is 18” and it is finished with a toggle clasp. Different lengths and clasp styles are available by special order. Like all of my jewelry, this design is available in both 14/20 Gold-Filled and Sterling Silver. You can see alternate gooseberry necklace designs and matching gooseberry jewelry by viewing the Gooseberries Page of this site.

Gooseberry jewelry can also be custom made with high-karat gold or platinum findings and accented with Swarovski Crystal or gemstone beads. Some examples can be viewed on the Custom Jewelry Page.

Ordering information is available on the Order and Contact Page.
