Realistic Glass Single Gooseberry Cluster-Style Necklace with Handmade Glass Leaves on 14/20 Gold-Filled Chain

Glass Single Gooseberry Cluster-Style Necklace
with Handmade Glass Leaves on 14/20 Gold-Filled Chain
NBOG-GLG

The Glass Gooseberry Necklace you see here features one of my handmade glass gooseberry beads, accented by my handmade glass leaves in several shades of green and hung on 14/20 Gold-Filled figure-eight chain. Like real gooseberries, each of my glass gooseberries is translucent green with delicate white veins running over its surface from the stem to the dried flower at the tip, and you can see the seeds inside. The glass dried flower at the end of each gooseberry is supported by wire inside and its edges have been rounded so they will not snag on clothing. These beads are hand-formed in the flame of a torch from colored glass and copper. As a result, the color will not rub, flake or chip off, and no two gooseberries are exactly alike. Gooseberries can be made in a range of colors from unripe dark green through tart mid-green (shown), ripe yellow, and slightly overripe golden brown. Just specify the color you prefer when you place your order.

The standard length for the necklace you see above is 20 inches and it is finished with a lobster clasp at one end and a small glass leaf at the other. You may vary the length between 18 inches and 20 inches by clipping the lobster onto any link in the last few inches of the chain. If you would like your necklace to be shorter or longer than the standard, simply specify the desired length when you order. Alternative clasps such as toggle style are also available. Like all of my jewelry, this design is available in both 14/20 Gold-Filled and Sterling Silver. You can see alternate gooseberry necklace designs and matching gooseberry earrings by viewing the Gooseberries Page of this site.

Gooseberry jewelry can also be custom made with high-karat gold or platinum findings and accented with different Swarovski Crystals, glass leaves or with gemstone beads. Some examples can be viewed on the Custom Jewelry Page.

Ordering information is available on the Order and Contact Page.
