The Glass Raspberry Necklace you see here features one of my handmade glass raspberry beads, accented by six olivine green Swarovski crystals and hung on Sterling Silver figure-eight chain. Like real raspberries, each of my glass raspberries has a translucent quality with a soft surface sheen. Every cell of the raspberry has a slight vertical indentation. These beads are hand-formed one cell at a time in the flame of a torch from colored glass. As a result the color will not rub, flake or chip off and no two raspberries are exactly alike.
The single raspberry bead on this necklace will be about 18mm high. I make raspberries in a both red and Fall Gold varieties. The other colors can be seen on the Raspberries Page and are available by special order.
The standard length for the necklace you see above is 20” and it is finished with a lobster clasp. You can easily set the length anywhere from 18 to 20 inches by clipping the lobster onto the link of your choice. Different chain lengths and clasp styles are available by special order, usually with no change in price. Like all of my jewelry, this design is available in both 14/20 Gold-Filled and Sterling Silver.
