Thirteen Glass Berry Charm Bracelet with Leaves on Sterling Silver

Thirteen Glass Berry Charm Bracelet with Leaves on Sterling Silver

RBFS-NLS

This glass fruit charm bracelet features thirteen different glass berry beads in a rainbow of colors. Each berry is about 1/2 inch high. They include a blueberry, a gooseberry, a red cherry, a yellow cherry, a cloudberry, a red strawberry, a white strawberry, a red raspberry, a golden raspberry, a boysenberry, a blackberry, a cranberry, and a kumquat. The berry beads are accented by hand made glass leaves in your choice of light or dark green.

Each of these glass berry beads was created one at a time by melting glass rods in the flame of a torch. The bead surfaces are shiny or matte, opaque or translucent, solid-colored or shaded all to resemble the real fruits. Where the beads are made on copper wire stems, the glass has been melted onto the wire so it cannot be pulled free. Shading of the colors is accomplished by mixing glass colors together, by selective heating and cooling of the glass, or by melting enamel (powdered glass) onto the surfaces. Because no paint has been used to make them the colors will never rub, flake or chip off.

You are welcomed to design your own version of this bracelet. For example, you may prefer a cool-colors version that includes blackberries, boysenberries and blueberries and raspberries. Simply email me your preferences so we can get started.

The standard length for the figure-eight chain you see above is 8 inches and it is finished with a lobster clasp. You may wear it at any length between 7 and 8 inches by clipping the lobster into the link of your choice. The free end of the chain is finished with a small matching glass leaf. Different lengths and clasp styles are available by special order. Like all of my jewelry, this design is available in both Sterling Silver and 14/20 Gold-Filled. You can see other multi-berry jewelry by viewing the Mixed Fruits Page of this site.

Fruit Salad jewelry can also be custom made with high-karat gold or platinum findings and accented with gemstone beads. Some examples can be viewed on the Custom Jewelry Page.

Ordering information is available on the Order and Contact Page.
